MCPS is considering re-opening Parkside ES and doing an addition to Highland View to permanently move all of SCES to one of those sites. The existing SCES facility would then be become part of SSIMS.

STAFF & TEACHERS GIFT FUND COLLECTION

The Staff Gift Fund buys gifts that individuals (or even entire classrooms) could not afford. Each year, we collect approximately $4,000.00- $5,000.00, which provides every single teacher and staff member with a personal gift and a significant contribution to the staff Holiday Party.

As per the SCES tradition, we do not hold a formal member meeting in the month of December. If you have questions or immediate issues please email president@scespta.org and we will follow-up immediately.

The next meeting will be held January 7th, 2020 in the SCES Media Center.

The AQUATIC Mobile Science Lab Needs You

The AQUATIC Mobile Science Lab, run by the Maryland Agriculture Education Foundation, will be at SCES the week of October 21-25 and we need one parent chaperone per class. Please consider signing up during our class slot and the slot before or after our class as your time permits.
