Nominations for 2018-19 School Year PTA

It does not require more than two minutes.  Its’ free but priceless.  I’m talking about nominating parents for the PTA Board.  Answer this simple question: who would you want to promote the advocacy and educational programs to secure the highest advantages for our children in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education?

Nominate Now

The sooner the better.  We will accept self-nominations, as well as nominations of others.  The Nominations Committee will take it from there.  We will make sure your nominee wants to volunteer and is matched to best position within the Board. Voting will take place at the June 6th PTA Meeting (or possibly online as well if you cannot attend).

Are you or do you know someone who –

  • Believes in our PTA’s mission?
  • Has shown leadership of self or leadership of others within their neighborhood, their program, or their classroom?
  • May not have much experience but is willing to learn, ask questions, and team build to bring closer the relationship between home and school?

Nominations are open for both incumbent and vacant PTA positions.  This means you do not need to shy away from a currently filled position. Each returning board member has expressed are interest in creating the strongest board possible – if that means someone other than themselves, it creates an opportunity for succession planning.  It also means we need to see nominees for vacant positions most.
