The end of the school year means it's time for the book share. This year, the SCES Book Share will take place on June 9 - June 11. In order for the book share to be successful, we need BOOKS and VOLUNTEERS! 

 

The goal of the book share is to send kids home with at least 2-3 books. This includes sending French immersion students home with at least one French book. 

We currently have a good amount of books for Kindergarteners and early readers.  The things we are most in need of are: (1) French books, (2) graphic novels, (3) chapter books for more advanced readers. Please go through your books with an eye to these areas of particular need.  We are also, of course, happy to take new books if anyone is so inspired (though certainly not necessary). 

 

Starting next week, I will put out a bin at the start of drop off. With my work schedule, I cannot regularly get to the school at pick-up, but if anyone is willing to help take a bin in and out at the end of the day, please let me know! If you have a large number of books (a bin or more), I am also happy to coordinate a time to pick them up from your home. 

 

The SCES book share will take place June 9 through June 11, with set up on Monday afternoon and evening, and clean-up on Thursday afternoon. We will need a lot of help on Monday as well as at least 2-3 people to help kids pick books throughout the day. Please sign up here if you are able to help:
