The groundhog has predicted an early spring and spring brings with it the PTA's main fundraiser, The Salamander Stride. Last year this fun run raised over $35,000 to support programs like the Mobile Science Lab, World Culture Day, Family Nights (Science Night, Reading Night, & Movie Night!), Socials (Welcome Back Social, Grades K-2 Social, Grades 3-5 Social), Teacher Reimbursements, Mini Grants, Parent Speakers, and much, much more!

The Salamander Stride is tentatively set for May 17th but can only run with your help!

If you are interested in helping plan this great event full of fun and fitness for our kids please join us: Salamander Stride Planning Meeting SCES Media Center Tuesday, February 5th from 7-8pm Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like to help but can't make it on Tuesday! There will also be sign-ups for day of volunteers as the date gets closer.
