The Salamander Stride is right around the corner. For those of you new to Sligo Creek ES, The Stride is our largest, most important fundraiser of the year. It is typically a fun afternoon spent on our track running laps for pledges, but as we all know this year is a little different! This year's 'Stride will be a VIRTUAL EVENT held the week of November 9-13th.

 

This single event raises nearly all the money our PTA needs to fund both teacher equipment requests and a variety of events for the students throughout the year. Things like Cultural Arts Assemblies, Science Night, Socials, Mobile Science Lab, and Teacher Appreciation Week. Our Goal is to raise $30,000 to pay for the extras that make our school special!

• Students ask friends and family to donate money on their behalf (no wrapping paper sales!)
• Donations can be made online. Please see links and instructions below! 
• Anytime during the week of November 9th run, walk, stroll, or hop with your family to meet your Salamander Stride goal.  Your goal can be a mile- or beyond! Use a local trail, track, neighborhood, or where you live.
• Get ready for a fun spirit week/prizes for the grade that raises the most money to celebrate the 'Stride! (see attached)

 

1. Go to https://scespta.membershiptoolkit.com/home
2. Click on the Log In button or the Registration button.
3. If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
4. Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
5. Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
6. Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process.

1. Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information forms.
2. Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
3. Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with forms for PTA Membership, Spirit Wear, Volunteer Opportunities, and SALAMANDER STRIDE!  All of your SCESPTA needs in one convenient place! https://scespta.membershiptoolkit.com/Open_Forms
4. Click on the form to create your child's Virtual Salamander Stride fundraising site!

If you wish to donate the old fashioned way you may mail checks made out to Sligo Creek ES PTA to:
