Welcome to the New PTA Leadership Team

Please congratulate and welcome the new PTA leadership team at SCES. Our new and returning officers include:

• Deborah Guinnessy as President (Ana, Grade 2)
• Todd Cimo as Treasurer (Genevieve & Juliette, Grade 2)
• Sean Bruce, VP Communications (Sophie, Grade 2 & Charlise, K)
• Yaye Diop as VP Academics (Moudjibou, Grade 3).

We’d also like to welcome back Andreas Smith as Secretary (Aurelia, Grade 4).

Thank you all for stepping up to serve the SCES community!

At the final PTA meeting, Deborah was nothing short of heroic in stepping up alone as president as we discussed what the outlook was for our PTA without one (hint: you can’t operate a PTA without a President). Please strongly consider joining her as Executive Vice President as this year’s Board continues to build on past successes and continues to support our amazing teachers and staff members with all that they do for our children. We are also looking for a VP of Events/Fundraising who would work with our Room Parent Coordinators to help match potential volunteers with their interests.
