The PTA Needs You!
Many PTA Board positions are open for next year. Executive board positions have term limits, so new members are needed for our robust SCES PTA to continue. You don’t have to do it all, and there are plenty of returning members to guide you, and the outgoing volunteers are usually available to support your transition into the role as well!
The PTA organizes events:
- Welcome Back Social
- Scholastic Book Fair
- Poetry Night
- Math Night
- GeoBowl
- World Culture Day
- STEAM Fair
- Book Share
The PTA organizes the in-house Salamander Stride as our one fundraiser a year, keeping 100% of the profits!
Indoor recess games, outside soccer balls, affordable field trips, room parent coordination, T-shirts, safety signage, after-school activities, teacher appreciation, student advocacy, representation in the wider MCCPTA community…all happen because Sligo Creek has a PTA!

Why should I register?
The PTA uses an set of online tools called Membership Toolkit to help us stay organized - it's a commonly used system and you might have a Membership Toolkit account with a different organization. If so, use that log in to make your life easier!
Otherwise, signing up for the PTA is a two step process:
1. Register with Membership Toolkit using the buttons below - provide your email, verify it, and then provide the information about your family that will help us best communicate with you.
2. Become a PTA member by selecting one of the membership options: one adult ($15), two adults ($25), or faculty member ($5). Memberships last until the June 30th after the school year during which you joined, and after that it's easy to re-up for the next year.
Membership Toolkit is the service that empowers us to make purchases, complete paperwork, and coordinate our volunteer efforts —all online. The goal is to save time, and work together more smoothly!
