The Outdoor Classroom provided a beautiful setting for our students to 'travel' around the world and learn about the languages, geography, music, arts, foods, history, architecture, sports, products, holidays, games, clothing, inventions, flags, and more of the countries represented in the SCES student body.

Thanks too to Ms. Nesmith, Mme. Thompson, Mr. Espinal and the staff for their enthusiastic support for making World Culture Day a reality this year and, of course, to all the 4th and 5th graders whose vibrant, creative posters helped to decorate our school for this event.

Finally, World Culture Day could not have happened without the dedication of so many volunteers who helped in all ways big and small. Thank you:

I didn't have time to photograph all of the hoodies, water bottles, and individual gloves, mittens, scarves and hats. Encourage your student to stop by L&F (it's in the SCES cafeteria) if you see something you recognize, or stop by after school today outside the cafeteria doors, where we'll pull the racks and bins out from 3:40-4 PM or so.
