Spirit Wear Sale

We're all so excited to be back in the building...while we were away, perhaps your kiddo outgrew their SCES t-shirt?  

The time to order a new one—particularly with the Salamander Stride around the corner (more on that next week!)—is now! Based on feedback, we switched to a lighter, more comfortable fabric (Gildan Softstyle). 

Also, this year we have a new 4"x6" magnet available for purchase. Available for single purchase or as a bundle with a youth t-shirt. 

The PTA will provide all kindergartners and new SCES staff with a shirt. There is no need to submit an order for a kindergartner, but donations are welcome to offset costs. Orders are due by September 24th. We plan to have all shirts delivered by the end of October to your student's classroom.

Help Stock the Staff Lounge

Help keep the SCES Staff Lounge well-stocked with snacks and drinks for our amazing faculty! 

We will be stocking the Lounge once a week, on Mondays. If you would like to contribute, please visit the SignupGenius page:

School Photo Day: Sept. 30

SCES is using Classic Photography & Imaging for school portraits this year. You likely received a flyer in your Friday Folders last week. 

A representative from Classic Photography says that they are requiring their photographers to be vaccinated, in addition to the safety measures outlined on their website below (masking, distancing, cleaning, and temperature monitoring). 

A parent asked whether photos could be taken outside, and the Classic Photography rep said that while they did some outside photos in 2020 and spring of 2021, they prefer to keep them indoors due to the weather being unpredictable. She said they would spread out throughout the gym and see one class at a time, safely distanced across several photo booths with several photographers, all wearing PPE.  

She also mentioned that students are of course welcome to leave their masks on for photos if parents would prefer.
